Asexuality

This isn't a question but I'm feeling pretty bummed. Today in class I was explaining to a friend what exactly asexuality is, and that though some asexuals do have sex, I'm one of those who are averse to it, so I plan to not ever have it if I can avoid it. A guy nearby said "Well thank God for that," and ugh, I'm just... not feeling so great about it.

That guy sounds like a complete douche to be honest. I would feel bummed out too if someone said that about me, so I can’t tell you to “let it go”.

However, in saying that, don’t let it lower your self-esteem or confidence because that guy’s one comment isn’t worth that. I’m betting he’s just some lonely loser who wishes he could get laid but can’t.
