Is there a word for someone who considers themselves *romantic (in my case, panromantic), but doesn't feel the need to date or have a relationship? I'm sort of sure I'm not aromantic right now, because I think I still feel romantic feelings towards people, but I don't see myself dating anyone...ever, if I could get away with it. Thoughts?

When you say romantic, do you mean you desire a romantic relationship without actually wanting to be in one? Or romantic as in, you like the idea of doing romantic things, like cuddling, holding hands, etc.

If it’s the first one, that would be called “lithromantic”. It’s still a very unheard of orientation and in a nutshell, it basically means you experience romantic attraction without desire for reciprocation.

There’s a blog about it here (x)

If it’s the second one, desiring to do romantic things like cuddling, hand holding, etc, that’d be called “sensual attraction.” Doesn’t usually mean you want to date the person, you may just like doing romantic things with them.

If neither of these things, feel free to ask more questions.
