Asexuality

RSS

I'm a 17-year-old girl and I find a lot of people (boys, girls or whatever gender idc) attractive but I just can't imagine having sex with someone. I would only like want to get to know them, kiss or cuddle if that makes sense >.< I would love to have a boy-/girlfriend but just without sex. Only if I would really, really love and trust them, maybe then. Does that make me asexual?

There is such a thing as aesthetic attraction (admiring their appearance) and sensual attraction (desiring to be non-sexually intimate with them), which sounds like what you described.

Asexuality is simply not experiencing sexual attraction. (Asexuals can also have sex, so whether you do eventually, is irrelevant.)

Here is a very useful page where you can read about the different types of attraction and determine what fits you best. (x)
