Asexuality

Hi I'm a girl, 15year old.. really don't fit in the "sexual" thing. I don't find sex or masturbation a necessity. I find guys cute or nice to stare at them, but don't imagine them naked or you know.. I don't want that. I've tried porn, find it disgusting. My relatives say to me that "I haven't met the right person yet" but I don't really feel that's gonna happen!. I'd love to marry someone, one day and have kids, but NOT having sex. is it because I'm still "young" or time will say? thank you!!

From what you have described you certainly sound asexual. When I was your age I felt the same way about sex. I had a boyfriend whom I very much loved (wasn’t in love, but I did love him) but sex still wasn’t something I was particularly interested in or cared about. I’m almost 22 and I still feel the same way. My family now accept the fact that there’s an unlikely possibility that’ll change and even if it does, who cares?

Everyone is different, there’s a chance you may suddenly find yourself interested in sex and want to shag the next hottest guy you see, and there’s a chance that when you’re married with kids of your own you’ll still find sex and masturbation as something unnecessary.

The fact is, right now at this very moment, it’s quite clear you’re asexual (you don’t find people sexually attractive) and that’s perfectly okay, don’t worry about what might or might not change in the future. There are a lot of asexuals here on tumblr, I’m sure they would be quite willing to chat with you if you’re up for it.
